Yikes!

I was crocheting away on my blocks for "Marigold" when it occurred to me that because they were turning out 10" that my wall hanging would be 80" square.  I think that is almost a bed spread or something so a redesign was in order.

So here it is:

Phew, I'm glad I thought of it in time.  So that will be either a row of single or double crochet in the three colors, Scarlet, Gold, and Claret, and a lot fewer blocks!

On another front, my yarns for the Temperature Blanket, which should be bigger, are on their way in Chicago.  Yay!  A twin bed blanket should be 66" by 90", so some quick calculations are in order.  Just by nature of the design, that is, 2 rows for every day, the blanket ends up about 112" which is the length of a queen size blanket, 90" by 100" or so.  That means I'll make a chain of 316, which was pretty close to what Shhshh said.  I guess it would end up a spread for a twin bed.  Either way, I can't wait to get started.

Oh, yeah, Red Heart Crème de la Crème calls for a H hook and I have no clue how much yarn.  Probably the most expensive blanket around!

I've posted two items near the title of my blog to remind me to get them finished! Ha!
