Temperature Blanket yarns came yesterday.

And I'm catching up.  Yikes, I have a whole month or more to do.

Catching up on the temps too:

It was a struggle,

but I managed to get a week's worth of groceries.  I'm just so tired and tired of red ants that bite.  Got some traps today and they seem to be working, yay.  And no worry about Mo D.  Plus there are several baby lizards about.  I sure hope they eat ants.  And some birds that fly away whenever I turn the corner to go to the back of the house.  I hope they are anteaters also.  Fingers crossed.  Just pulled a huge red ant off my back!

The Prairie Lucy Bag

Two posts in one day.

Working on the grid.  I'm not there yet, but I found a nice free pattern for a Summer and Winter two block rag rug.  That gave me the start.  The technique is Taquete, where the tabby binding weft shot is used for a pattern shot instead.  I think I'll play around making runners.  The study drafts are not bad patterns in their own right.

And I've been organizing the loom room and finding all the projects wanting to be finished and putting them all together in one spot.  Ha.  Now, I can not buy a single new ball of yarn without finishing something from the pile.  Such self-discipline, let's see how long it lasts.
