The mind is nearly gone I fear. I completely forgot to tie the cross and only discovered it when I started sleying the reed. Probably the shocker jury summons for federal court in Riverside 548 miles round trip. Where they think I am, or anyone else for that matter, going to find that kind of money, is beyond me? Plus a stay at a hotel if selected to serve. Yikes. I know it is reimbursed later, but how do I pay the bills in the meantime. Yikes. I just got caught up after the property tax. It is a wonder the cross ties were all I forgot.

I also discovered I threaded the loom backwards. Looking closely I thought, what are those staples doing in the rigid heddle. Yep, I was at the back of the loom. Never even noticed until the handles were on the wrong side. All is fixed now and almost ready to weave but it is too hot. The "Excessive Heat Warning" has officially started. And I'm all set. Air on: check. Water chilling in the fridge: check. Sit-down-quietly-task ready: check.
