I've another productive craft day in store. :)!

HI: 104
LO: 80

Oh, boy.  I just had a look at the weather forecast.  Another heat alert is coming!  And yesterday brown water was coming from my tap.  Not a good time to be fooling with the water lines, Needles.

I love the cotton yarns I've chosen for the temperature blanket but came to the realization because of the put up that this blanket will cost me over $600.  Yep, that is the cost of cotton these days!  So this will become a Summer Solstice blanket with some nice other yarns used for the whole year.  I'm looking at Bernat Super Value for a change with a nice put up of over 400 yards.  New colors coming.  I'm going to miss the pretty cotton ones though.  :(!

Here come the new ones, 426 yards and $3.34 verses 125 yards and $2.47.  I'll order a couple of colors and hope I like the yarn.  It's new to me but I want to branch out.  It is just a momentary delay on the blankie.  (I changed the colors again after viewing the documentaries Extreme Ice and Chasing Ice.)  I like this bunch.
