and my heart is all a flutter. (Actually he is not too bad to look at either.) My 3-in-1 Breakfast Maker arrived, is cleaned, assembled, (duh, huh, oh s__t, ahh) and ready to brew coffee while frying an egg, while toasting an English muffin. So now I'm preparing the walls to paint, vacuuming and mopping the floor, rearranging the furniture in the living room to prepare a mini kitchen while the kitchen "remodel" is being done. Of course the front door needs to be painted, the walk washed, curtains made, pictures hung, and fantastic little artistic, ethnic, gothic, rustic do-dads purchased at the thrift stores.
I'll keep you posted, because that is what we do here, post stuff. 5 crochet blocks done, too.
Golly, it is so muggy tonight and I have polished off all the strawberry lemonade. :( The little kitchenette is so cute. Adorable with a little basket. Next I need to de-clutter the tea cart and put the cups and saucers there. My desk is moved to its new spot. I can see the rock wall and the navy blue, emerald green, and white tiles from here. Looked at Ravelry for a hexagon pattern for making living room curtain and found the cute one below. One bookcase is moved. Need to move another, de-clutter, de-clutter, de-clutter. And out with the old, tired sofa. This is a huge project but off to a good start.
Here's some ideas for colors. I needed to use some navy blue and yet blend with the wood of the bookcases and the loom. So far so good.
Here's the link for the Hexagon Star Motif. I think I'll crochet it in Simply Soft Sport in white.
